Kids Shoe & Apparel Guide – Adoreu Baby, Babyland & Stork Talk
What Are Kids Shoe Sizes?
Infant: Sizes 1–3
Toddler: Sizes 4–10
Preschool: Sizes 10.5–3
Grade School: Sizes 10.5–3.0
Children aged 9–12 may begin to outgrow kids’ sizes and move into adult women’s or men’s sizing.
How Kids Shoe Sizing Works
Unlike clothing, shoe sizes do not always match a child’s age (except for infants).
Infant shoes are listed by age in months.
Once children move into kids’ sizes, the system switches to numbers:
Toddler: 3.5–10
Preschool & Grade School: 10.5 and up
After size 13.5, kids move into adult sizing, starting again at size 1.

How Often Do Kids Need New Shoes?
Shoe needs depend on how fast your child is growing. Use these averages as a guide:
Under 15 months: +0.5 size every 2 months
15 months – 2 years: +0.5 size every 2–3 months
2–3 years: +0.5 size every 3–4 months
3–5 years: +0.5 size every 4 months
5–10 years: Usually 1–2 times a year
How Do I Know If My Child’s Shoes Fit?
Always measure your child’s feet before buying new shoes
