layby terms & conditions

Adoreu Tasmania Pty Ltd – Layby Terms & Conditions

Deposit
A minimum deposit of 20% of the total layby value is required at setup.

Storage & Handling Fees

  • Laybys with furniture, prams and larger items will incur a one-off $10 storage & handling fee, payable at the time of layby setup.
  • This fee covers off-site storage, handling and administration costs and is non-refundable, including if the layby is completed.

Minimum Layby Value
The minimum layby value is $100

Cancellation
If a layby is cancelled, a cancellation fee may apply but will not exceed 20% of the original layby value.
If cancelled by you, all monies paid excluding storage, handling and service fees will be refunded.
Service fees may include shipping or special order costs and are applied at our discretion.

Special Orders
Special order items may not be eligible for cancellation or refund once the order has been placed.

Layby Duration

  1. Furniture, prams & car seats: up to 6 months
  2. Smaller nursery items (eg. changing mats, monitors): up to 3 months, unless included with furniture
  3. Clothing, manchester & toys: up to 6 weeks (cannot be combined with furniture laybys)
  4. Perishable items: not eligible for layby

Collection
Laybys must be collected by the agreed due date.
For large items, 24 hours’ notice is required to arrange retrieval from off-site storage.
If a layby is not collected within 14 days of the due date and no contact is made, it may be treated as a cancelled layby and cancellation fees may apply.

Payments
Regular fortnightly payments are required.
If no payment is received after two reminders, we reserve the right to cancel the layby and apply the cancellation fee.

Partial Collection
Items cannot be separated from a layby until final payment is received.
If partial collection is requested:

  • A minimum 20% deposit must remain on the layby
  • Items collected must be paid in full
  • An additional service fee may apply

Privacy
Information collected is used to process your layby and may be shared with service providers for reminder SMS or notices. Please refer to our Privacy Policy on the Adoreu Tasmania website.

Exclusions
Layby is not available on clearance products.

Changes to Terms
Layby terms and fees are subject to change without notice. The terms in place at the time of layby setup will apply.
